Our fall class schedule is here!
Summer is in full swing, but have you noticed? Stores are starting to showcase their back to school items. I know for some families “back to school” can mean different things. It can mean going back to regular routines and earlier bedtimes. It can mean less time to have with the kids who go to school, but more time to spend with younger children. For myself, it means more time to spend learning and writing songs! The summer picnics, pool parties, and beach vacations will soon give way to hayrides, falling leaves, and hopefully cooler temperatures. Our summer classes featured songs about bunnies and carrots, watermelons, and jellyfish, but now we’ll sing songs about falling leaves, colors, and shy little monsters.
I am extremely grateful to the pastor and staff at Christ Church UCC for allowing us to continue using their facility for the first Fall Session. In October, our classes will be returning to St. Andrew’s for the second Fall Session, and I am very excited about the addition of a Melodies for Babies class and to be able to offer a second class day. I am still considering potentially starting a once a month Saturday class for working parents. Stay tuned for more information about that later. I hope you’ll join us for one or both of the Fall Sessions!
